The intersection of Art, Photography, Science and Spirituality is what fuels the creativity behind the work you will experience here at Wendy Savage Studios. Wendy Savage is a Raleigh, North Carolina based artist.  Her experiences as an artist/photographer, educator and musician spans over 40 years.

Wendy Savage has a BA in Photography with a music minor from Florida State University. She also earned an MFA in Visual Arts from the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University. She had a 30+ career as a Medical Photographer for NC State College of Veterinary Medicine and has taught photography, digital imaging, color theory and book design courses at Meredith College in Raleigh.  In addition, she also taught for the Art Institute of Pittsburgh's online division in photography, digital image illustration and color theory.

Wendy has been a life-long musician and began her studies in music playing the flute as a young child.  She continues to play today but has been enjoying the the challenges of playing the lever (folk) harp.  She enjoys and plays many different styles of music but her present favorites are Celtic and Jazz.
